Post Re: mitsu tools
Why spend a thousand dollars on a car that I'm going to sell this year?

Plan as it stands right now is to keep it long enough to get one more run down the track with it, try to get at least a 12 or 11 second timeslip, then sell it.

So, the 70 lb/min turbo will have to wait for the next car. I think wE all know what i haVe tO get.

i used one once doing a timing belt.

as long as you keep the cams imobile though you are fine. it helps to paint mark stuff too

you can do the work no issue without the tool. i used it once then just said fuck it

I use the trusty tie wrap meathod on the cam gears, that part works fine however.. there was this one time I took the cam gears off without de-tensioning the belt first... not the end of the world but you end up having to compress it in the end anyways to get them back on...

of course there's the "HULK PULL"

I heard now there's another place you can get just the de-tensioner for like 20 bucks so the next time I'll just grab that one.
